Her passion for acting led her to debut in the Telugu film industry at the age of 13, with the movie "Nee Thodu Kavali" in 2002. Despite being a teenager, Charmi's acting skills were noticed and appreciated by the audience and critics alike.

Charmi gained significant recognition in the Telugu film industry with her notable performances in movies such as "Kadhal Azhivathillai" (2002) and "Neeke Manasichhanu" (2003).
